ORKNEY HAND KNITS

Orkney Hand Knits brings us just that - unique hand knits from the hauntingly beautiful Orkney Islands off the top of mainland Scotland. Produced by a small team of knitters in their own homes on the wild and windy islands, they are knitted from a raw silk and lambswool blended yarn. All garments travel between each knitter, by boat to be finished.

The jumpers and jackets are light but warm, have incredible colour combinations (all dyes are natural), a relaxed quirky design and wonderful attention to detail. These pieces exhibit everything that Berrima's Overflow loves- they use high quality, natural materials, in a slow and ethical practice all whilst celebrating beautiful colour! Berrima's Overflow is the only stockist outside of the UK.
