ORKNEY HAND KNITS

Totally unique hand knits from the hauntingly beautiful Orkney Islands off the top of mainland Scotland. Produced by a small team of knitters in their own homes on the outer, wild and windy islands, they are knitted from a raw silk and lambs wool blended yarn. All garments travel between each knitter, by boat to be finished.

The jumpers and jackets are light but warm, have incredible colour combinations (all dyes are natural), a relaxed quirky design and wonderful attention to detail.
